Happy Birthday to my dreadies!! They are finally at the adolescent stage! No more dread babies. It’s amazing to see how much they’ve changed in 12 months. There’s no reason to believe they won’t keep changing and look better and better.

By now they should have grown out about six inches, but they have actually shrunk a bit. The six inches of length all went towards thickening. They are really starting to fill my head. I’m hoping for about six more months of bulking up, then lengthening. The average person would have pretty great dreads by now, but I know thin hair just takes longer. They will get there!

I can’t wait to see how they change six months from now. See you then!
